National Composite Centre (NCC)

CHC is pleased to announce that it is working with the National Composite Centre (NCC). As part of the High Value Manufacturing Catapult centres, the NCC brings together dynamic companies and enterprising academics to develop new technologies for the design and rapid manufacture of high-quality composite products. Companies such as Airbus, GKN and Rolls Royce are increasingly making use of composite materials which are light, strong and corrosion resistant. The Centre, which is owned by the University of Bristol, has world-class expertise and industrial-scale facilities that are used to develop the technologies which will result in more fuel efficient land, sea and air vehicles as well as, for example, the next generation of wind and marine renewable energy devices. CHC is helping the NCC to develop its capability acquisition business process which will support future procurement activity.
